A hand-woven wool dhurrie in charcoal with kilim pattern β the geometry laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave ground. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in contained bands, the charcoal reading dark and saturated. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The charcoal grounds the geometry without competing with it, suited to contemporary interiors where the floor anchors color rather than receding. 100% wool, flatweave.
