Story 

It was her first day as a teacher. Her mind was a swirl of several thoughts as she prepared to take her first lesson. She knew it would be a difficult path to walk on. But it was her dream. It had always been her dream. She remembered when she had first mentioned it to her father. œTeacher?! Other girls your age are joining large companies but you want to go back to school? His words still resounded in her ears. She had been firm about her choice then; she was firm now. As she made her way to her desk, she was keenly aware of all the eyes on her. But then, she slipped her hand into her purse and pulled out the note her brother had given her that morning. She was the solo orchid in this garden and she would bloom.

Description

Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce.
