A very versatile yoga prop: a longer and thinner variation of the standard oval bolster designed according to the instructions of BKS Iyengar for the practice of pranayama. Position the pranayama bolster along your spine for support and expansion during deep breath practice while you're lying down... use it for cushioning in kneeling postures... under your knees in Savasana... to elevate your sit bones slightly in lotus position... or to support your spine to remain upright in a pyramid seated position. Printed by hand using carved wooden blocks onto heavy canvas fabric with lots of gorgeous detailing like contrast piping and zipper, decorative stitching, and a colourful tassel inspired by those seen on the camels of Rajasthan’s great Thar Desert. This range of wonderful yoga and meditation accessories was brought to life by a dear friend and ex-neighbour of mine in Delhi, who has now moved her company to that New Age haven, California.
