The round bolster is larger, heavier and longer than standard oval ones so it tends to be better suited for more advanced practice. If you place it under your back, it lifts the spine higher - great for heart opening and deeper breathwork. Or you can place it under your knees in reclining postures, such as Savasana. It's also suitable for seated postures; where you’ll sit higher. The blue Sufi design is a series of round motifs inspired by Sufi whirling dervishes who seek spirituality by abandoning ego, listening to music, focusing on the divine, and spinning in repetitive circles. Originating with Persian mystics, Sufi dervishes whirl in India, too!
