Bellinzoni Idea Dark Stone Sealer

Bellinzoni Idea Dark Stone Sealer is particularly for absorbent dark and black stones. It intensifies the natural color of the surface, can mask scratches, defects and imperfections of the stone. It is water-resistant and contains siloxane reagents which makes it ideal for protective treatment. It penetrates to protect instead of forming a film. It does not turn to yellow and perfect for indoor or outdoor surfaces. It has good resistance to UV rays. Idea Dark Stone Sealer prevents formation of mildew and does not allow the efflorescence. It is excellent to give color to marble-resin, and other agglomerates.

How to use Bellinzoni Idea Dark Stone Sealer?

Surface must be clean, dry, without any trace of dirt; stone to be treated must not contain salts (sulfates, chlorides and nitrates) since their presence reduces the absorption. Stains, mildew, crusting must be scraped off otherwise they will be harder to remove after protection. Apply IDEA DARK without any dilution, using a brush, a cloth, by roller or by spray gun. It is suggested, when possible, to apply the product by brush because it allows the product to penetrate well into the stone. In this case, apply IDEA DARK making a gentle pressure on the brush, in order to facilitate penetration into frames and cavities. Apply necessary quantity up to complete absorption. After 10/15 minutes, remove excess of product with a absorbing cloth.

• It is advisable to apply the product till complete saturation of stone.
• On very absorbent material it is better to make a second application after one hour from the first.
• Do not dilute the product with any solvent or water, formulation is ready for use.
• For small pieces of stone, it is possible to apply the product by immersion. It is also to use sponge completely damped with Idea Dark and apply it evenly on the surface.
• Once the material has been treated it is necessary to wait 24 hours for complete polymerization.
• In case of treatment of statues, decorations etc. pay attention to protect well cavities and corners.
• Read carefully recommendations printed on the tin before use.
