This painting stages a volatile encounter between a deep, nocturnal blue and a sunlit field of ochre, as if a charged weather system has drifted across an open plain of memory. Fractured planes of turquoise and green interlock like shifting architectural fragments, while incisive crimson slashes puncture the surface, turning gesture into a kind of emotional notation. The scraped textures and layered veils of pigment create a sense of time accumulated and disturbedβan excavation of experience where clarity is repeatedly built, broken, and rebuilt. In its unresolved balance between containment and rupture, the work reads as an interior landscape: luminous, bruised, and insistently alive.
