Story 

Like her friends, she looked forward to the loud jangling of the school bell that indicated it was time for lunch. The bell seemed particularly slow on days when it was preceded by a boring lecture. The same school bell seemed to take on a monstrous form during examinations, where it always tolled at the most inopportune moments, especially when she was struggling to finish her last, lengthy answer. The same bell jingled with joy as it did with agony. And she would only ever make peace with it when she grew to accept both these faces.
