This work turns the automobile into a framing device, where the wheel’s stark circular geometry becomes an aperture onto the city’s restless artery. The saturated orange bodywork and heavy blacks compress the space into bold, graphic planes, while the pale hubcap reflects a miniature streetscape—taxis, wires, and façades—like a memory caught in polished metal. By nesting urban movement inside a static tire, the piece quietly suggests how modern life is experienced through surfaces and machines, with speed and spectacle held in suspension at the center of an everyday object.
