This work builds a submerged architecture of greens—layered like sediment—where scraped textures and angular linework feel less like depiction than excavation, as if memory is being unearthed from a flooded room. A narrow vertical seam of light near the center acts as a hesitant passage, dividing the canvas into shifting planes that alternately shelter and expose the fractured forms below. The palette’s cool density is punctured by brief yellow flashes, suggesting persistence and renewal within a mood of containment, while the persistent geometry holds the emotional turbulence in a taut, almost infrastructural restraint.
