This work stages an enigmatic central “lock” or eye-like glyph within a field of biomorphic forms, as if an inner mechanism is being held in suspense by shifting layers of memory and matter. Burnished ochres and embered oranges glow from beneath cooler blue-green veils, creating the sensation of heat trapped under stone—light not painted on the surface but excavated from within. The composition’s symmetry suggests order and containment, yet the softened, amoebic edges continually dissolve any certainty, turning the image into a meditation on guarded intimacy: what we seal away, what still radiates, and how the psyche camouflages its own core.
