'Gulab' lehenga features jungle green Varanasi silk brocade appliquéed on leaf green silk satin, highlighted with zardozi embroidery with tikki and moti work. Echoing the Islamic Ogee architectural patterns punctuated by Kunjam motifs of floral tassels in green meena, the panelling follows the pattern of the brocade.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile.
