This composition fractures two galloping horses into prismatic planes, turning raw muscle and momentum into a crystalline choreography of speed. Cool blues and slate greys build a nocturnal atmosphere, while slashes of ember-red along the necks and flanks read like internal fireβbreath, strain, and will made visible. The overlapping facets compress depth and stretch time, as if the animals are both charging through space and being remembered in shards of sensation. Within this cubist tension, the work becomes less a portrait of horses than a meditation on power disciplined by geometry, where instinct is harnessed into form.
