The inspiration for the name of this fragrance comes from the opera βLa Normaβ by Vincenzo Bellini and the most famous interpretation of his βode to the moonβ by Maria Callas. Just like Normaβs voice, Castadiva starts almost whispering but then explodes into vibrant heart notes of frangipani. Exuberant and sparkling but mysterious at the same time. Energizing and magnetic, the wearer will feel like they are shining like a star. "Tapping Castadiva on my wrists, I was told how it was inspired not only by Bellini's classic aria (from the opera Norma), but also by stage requirements that prohibit opera singers from wearing perfume during performances, due to the effect it could have on the voices of the entire cast. Castadiva's delicate accord of frangipani, Egyptian jasmine and white musk were created to unfold gradually, so that not a hint of fragrance will be released during a performance, but by the time a diva is receiving the applause of the audience at the end of her performance, her perfume will be at its peak."
