A hand-knotted wool carpet in grey with traditional motifs β the pattern worked in pile across the field in medallion and border vocabulary. Hand-knotted construction builds density and durability: each knot tied individually on a loom, the wool pile rising from the backing in three-dimensional relief. The traditional pattern β central medallion, corner spandrels, bordered field β draws from Persian and Central Asian carpet design but is executed in the Uttar Pradesh knotting tradition. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by carpet artisans. The grey reads neutral and contemporary. Suited to formal and contemporary interiors. 100% wool pile.
