'This artwork is part of The Eye Series, which celebrates and brings to life people, events, memories or objects, that we otherwise assign little importance to.
Pause narrates the stories of those people who often go unnoticed in our busy lives. From the everyday chaiwala, to the flower vendor sitting outside the temple, from the vegetable seller, to the rag picker on the street, these people, who we encounter everyday, are given very little importance, and sometimes treated with disregard. With a piercing eye in the centre, the artist implores us to pause, take a moment, and treat these people with the same amount of love, respect and dignity, as we treat our own, regardless of social status, occupation, religion or ethnicity.
This artwork is fitted with a rotating frame, which allows it to be rotated on display as per preference. It measures 36 inches in diameter, and the framed size is 40.5 inches in diameter.
