Through an arresting composition, Ashu comments on the paradox of modern relationships, specifically as experienced by two people of the opposite sex. In “Perspective”, two arms, outstretched towards each other but tragically out of reach, represent the distance that remains even between two people who share every aspect of their lives with one another. The men’s thoughts, represented in blue, suggest an entirely different perspective from the women’s, whose thoughts are accentuated in red.
