Dancing Ganesha with Musicians

Lord Ganesha or Vinayaka is a Hindu god worshipped at the start of ceremonies and rites, as he is considered to be a remover of obstacles. He is also considered a patron of the arts, and hence, is often depicted in a dancing posture, like in this sculpture. Musicians are seen standing at the base of Ganesha's figure, along with mice, which are his mount or vahana.This exquisite sculpture is made using the lost wax process.
