Made of cotton chambray with gorgeous embroidery, contrasting velvet base panel, contrast piping and finished off with a colourful tassel inspired by those seen on the camels of Rajasthan’s Thar Desert, this is a truly special piece. The Rangoli range embroidered in pink and orange is inspired by the lotus, symbol of rebirth and spiritual awakening, and draws on the traditional rangoli patterns created from coloured rice and flower petals that decorate paths and entries during Hindu festivals and marriage celebrations. This range of wonderful yoga and meditation accessories was brought to life by a dear friend and ex-neighbour of mine in Delhi, who has relocated her company Chattra to that New Age haven of California.
