A vertical lattice of assertive black strokes rises like an improvised scaffold, its angular crossings forming a tense architecture that both builds and obstructs. The dense passages of pigment—dragged, layered, and occasionally frayed—allow thin seams of white to breathe through, turning absence into light and pause into structure. In this constant alternation between blockage and aperture, the work reads as a meditation on pressure and resilience: a city of marks where order is attempted, interrupted, and reassembled in real time.
