Karigar Ranga is a pure cotton kurta hand-painted in the Kalamkari tradition — structured around a bold chessboard grid of alternating cream and deep maroon squares. In each panel: either a classical human figure — a musician mid-note, a dancer mid-step, a seated form in contemplation — or a geometric kolam medallion, precise and symmetrical. Pink and crimson accents bring the figures to life. A hand-painted floral Kalamkari border runs along the hem.

The silhouette is A-line with a generous flare — wide, easy, full of movement. The most graphic and contemporary-feeling of all the Kalamkari pieces, with a structure that feels almost like a painting on a grid.
