This work stages a tense encounter between a charcoal, architectural void and a radiant red field that reads like a lit interior seen through gauze—an ember of presence pressed against silence. Veils of transparent layering and gridded striations suggest remembered structures—windows, partitions, thresholds—yet they remain deliberately unstable, as if the image were caught mid-transmission. A single diagonal red incision cuts through the dusk, functioning as both warning and lifeline, sharpening the composition into a meditation on confinement, permeability, and the stubborn persistence of heat within darkness.
