This work stages a charged encounter between structure and impulse: broad, architectural planes of ochre and slate establish a tenuous order, only to be breached by a dense black thicket of line that reads like thought made visible. Pale, breathing fields of blue-green and chalky white act as negative space and respite, while sharp orange-red interrupts like signal flares—moments of urgency puncturing the calm. The composition holds its tension through layered transparency and scarred markings, suggesting an inner city of memory where erasures, revisions, and restless pathways accumulate into a single, resonant psyche.
