This work stages a hushed cosmos of charcoal greys, built from overlapping planes that read like fractured memory or urban sediment settling into darkness. A single horizontal seam—part horizon, part incision—carries a small, concentrated flare of light, suggesting a distant sun or an idea stubbornly piercing the weight of atmosphere. The tension between the painting’s dense, tessellated surface and that precise luminous point creates a meditation on endurance: clarity arriving not through spectacle, but through persistence within the murk.
