The human body is said to be comprised of over 37 trillion living cells. While each cell looks almost identical, its function and the hereditary material it contains transforms continuously, influenced by the environment we live in and our experiences of the same.
Ananda-Maya is about going within each of these tiny forms that ascribes to us our physical, emotional, mental, energy or spiritual embodiments. The work conveys an experience of the self in its myriad forms - be it material, sexual, intellectual, intuitive or meditative - so we can perhaps move closer to our childlike weightless selves, unravelling the mysteries of the cosmos and perhaps even becoming one with it.
