This work stages a mirrored pair of enigmatic faces—part mask, part monument—whose elongated, blade-like intrusions split the features into a quiet violence of symmetry. Rendered in silvery monochrome, the lips and ribbed, wave-like contours feel sculptural and breathless, as if identity is being compressed into a polished object rather than a living presence. Behind them, the radiant, faceted yellows operate like an artificial sun: a luminous field that both elevates the figures and exposes their estrangement, suggesting a meditation on doubled selves, controlled speech, and the architecture of inner silence.
