This work assembles faceted, earthen planes into a monumental, almost architectural body, where ochres and umbers carry the weight of time like oxidized stone and burnished metal. A pale vertical aperture of light cuts through the dense geometry, reading as both wound and sanctuaryβan opening that suggests memory trying to surface from layered material and history. The left orb, inscribed with repeating marks, feels like a sealed relic or coded map, while the darker mass at right presses inward, heightening the sense of containment and quiet resistance. What emerges is a meditation on endurance: a battered yet luminous structure holding its interior radiance against the encroaching shadow.
