Tirumala Nayaka

Tirumala Nayaka ruled Madurai in early 17th century, and he was the most notable of the thirteen Madurai Nayak rulers of the time. A great patron of art and architecture, he rebuilt and renovated a number of old temples of the Pandya period. This bronze head with striking features depicts Tirumala Nayaka. An old and rare find, it is a worthy collectible for connoisseurs.
