

Red rice is an unpolished rice and retains its fibre content, unique flavour and is rich in nutritional value. Though less popular than the brown rice, it has a far more nutritious variety. Good source of Vitamin B1, B2, B6, and contains a moderate amount of calcium and iron. A flattened version of this rice are the Red Rice Millet Flakes. They are definitely healthier than regular white Poha and make for an excellent choice for breakfast.Β
