A hand-woven wool dhurrie in yellow with multicolor geometric kilim pattern β the geometry laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave ground. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in contained bands, the yellow ground anchoring multicolor work. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The yellow reads warm and bold. 100% wool, flatweave.
