A hand-woven wool dhurrie in yellow and ivory with pixelated geometric pattern β the grid of small squares laid across a flatweave ground. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, suited to spaces that see traffic. The pixel pattern β modular blocks alternating between yellow and ivory β reads contemporary but is executed using traditional kilim flatweave techniques. Woven in Bhadohi in the Uttar Pradesh carpet belt, where dhurrie weaving has passed master-to-apprentice for generations. The two-tone palette reads clean and graphic. A flatweave with no pile, 100% wool.
