Malbhog Cheera

Enjoy the wholesome goodness of Malbhog Cheera (Flattened Rice) from Bhogali Jalpan, Assam. Cheera, also known as beaten rice, is made by dehusking rice and flattening it into light, dry flakes. Prepared from the famous Malbhog rice variety, this Cheera carries a subtle aroma and mild, gentle taste that makes it versatile and delicious.

When soaked in water, milk, or curd, the flakes swell up and become soft, making them perfect for both sweet and savory dishes. You can enjoy Malbhog Cheera raw with milk, curd, sugar, salt, or jaggery, or make it more flavorful by lightly frying in oil. Packed with high carbohydrates, low fat, and essential vitamins & minerals (including iron), this is a nutritious, light, and energy-rich meal.
