This work stages a volatile encounter between incandescent reds and embered oranges and a counterweight of muted blue, as if heat and cool reason are pressing against each other in a single breath. The composition reads like a palimpsest of gestures—smears, scratches, and faintly embossed traces—suggesting memory being written and erased in real time. A dark, narrow seam cleaves the center like a fault line, turning the surrounding color-fields into opposing territories and making the viewer feel the charged tension of contact without resolution. In that friction, the piece becomes less an image than an atmosphere: intimate, urgent, and quietly unsettled.
