This work stages a solitary bird as an excavated relic, its form pressed into earthen panels like a fossil caught between chapters of time. The burnished ochres and rust reds behave like heated clay, while the scarred, tactile surface turns light into a slow shimmer, suggesting weathering, memory, and endurance rather than spectacle. Suspended across segmented fields, the figure reads as both ascent and arrestβan emblem of fragile vitality held in the gravity of material history, where flight becomes a record of survival.
