This abstract composition cleaves the field into two emotional climates: an earthen, ochre-toned expanse that feels weathered and bodily, and a cool turquoise plane that reads as distance, breath, and release. Between them, a jagged seam of fractured forms and scraped pigment becomes a threshold—part excavation, part sutured wound—where memory and material collide. The sparse marks on the blue side hover like half-erased inscriptions, suggesting time’s insistence on erasure even as the surface stubbornly retains its scars.
