Blue like a festival sky. Stories painted all the way to the hem.
Ranga Dhaaga is a pure cotton kurta hand-painted in the Kalamkari tradition β but on a bold cobalt blue ground that makes every figure glow. The motif is mythological and full of life: golden bulls, crimson elephants, divine figures mid-procession, peacock scrollwork filling every space between. Small mirror and bead embellishments are scattered across the painted figures, catching light as you move.
The silhouette is A-line with a gentle flare β more movement than a straight cut, the kind that works beautifully both standing and in stride. This is Kalamkari at its most joyful.
