Large Serving Platter

Large tinned copper platter used for serving at feasts, from the Deccan region. The platter features beautiful engraved and repousse work of stylised foliate designs, similar to acanthus leaves. 
The diameter of the thali is 27 inches. It is mounted on a stand and the total height is 33 inches while depth is 6 inches.
