This is a reverse glass painting from Lucknow.
An elegantly dressed lady, comfortably seated and leaning against a bolster, is shown in the painting. Her hennaed right hand appears to be holding an emerald and pearl necklace - perhaps an element added to draw attention to the carefully detailed jewellery. The head and ear ornaments and armlets are also intricately detailed.
