A hand-woven wool dhurrie in grey with multicolor kilim motifs β the geometry contained in horizontal bands across a flatweave ground. Dhurries sit lighter on a floor than knotted carpets: woven flat without pile, they suit high-traffic areas where weight and cleaning matter. The kilim bands carry reds, blues, yellows against the grey field, the pattern modular and repeating in the way flatweave construction allows. Woven in Bhadohi in the Uttar Pradesh carpet belt, where dhurrie weaving has been practiced for generations. The grey grounds the multicolor work without competing with it. A flatweave with no pile, 100% wool.
