A hand-tufted wool carpet in grey with Gabbeh-style pattern β abstract geometric and tribal motifs built up in pile across the field. Tufting builds a denser pile than flatweave: yarn punched into a backing and finished from above. The Gabbeh style β loose geometric forms, abstract symbols in grey tones β draws from Persian tribal carpet traditions but is executed in the Uttar Pradesh tufted carpet vocabulary. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur. The grey reads neutral and contemporary, the abstract forms adding texture without pattern. Suited to contemporary interiors where tone matters more than ornament. 100% wool pile.
