Satyanarayana is another name for the Hindu god Vishnu. Vishnu, the Preserver or the Protector, is one of the three deities in the Great Trinity of Hinduism, along with Shiva and Brahma. Satyanarayana Puja is a popular religious worship practiced by many Hindus. This intricately carved sculpture of of Satanarayana depicts him holding a conch shell (shankha), discus (chakra), mace (gada) and lotus flower in his four hands. He wears a five headed serpent crown on his head. The sculpture is made using the lost wax process and given an antique finish.
