Vishnu, the Preserver or the Protector, is one of the three deities in the Great Trinity of Hinduism, along with Shiva and Brahma. This intricately carved sculpture of Vishnu depicts him holding a conch shell (shankha), discus (chakra) and mace (gada). He is standing on an inverted lotus, and one of his hands is in the abhaya mudra. The sculpture is made using the lost wax process and given an antique finish.
