A hand-woven wool dhurrie in multicolor with blue dominant ground, the kilim pattern laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave construction. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in bands, the blue ground anchoring the multicolor work in reds, yellows, and greens. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The blue reads saturated and bold, the multicolor bands graphic against it. Suited to spaces where color anchors the floor rather than receding. 100% wool, flatweave.
