This is a Mysore School painting of the Vaishnavite saint Manavala Mamunigal (1370-1450). Mamunigal was a Sri Vaishnava religious leader, who helped spread Sri Vaishnavism during the 15th century in Tamil Nadu, with the help of his eight disciples. The frame is beautifully shaped, adding to the beauty of the piece.
